Elevator Technician (or Apprentice Elevator Technician)

For our Curaçao office, we are looking for an enthusiastic Elevator Technician (or Apprentice Elevator Technician) who wants to help build the future of our company. What will you do?
As an Elevator Technician, you are the face of Astralift Caribbean. You ensure our customers can rely on safe, reliable, and well-maintained elevators. Your responsibilities include:
• Performing preventive maintenance on various types of elevators and escalators.
• Diagnosing and independently resolving technical faults and breakdowns.
• Carrying out repairs, ranging from minor fixes to more complex technical challenges.
• Working as part of a team to install and commission elevators and escalators.
• Assisting inspectors during elevator inspections and safety certifications.
• Advising and informing customers about the work performed.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through your professional and customer-focused approach.
Who are you?
You have a technical mindset, enjoy working independently, and take pride in solving technical challenges.
In addition, you preferably have:
• A completed technical education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field (preferred).
• Experience within a customer-oriented technical service organization (preferred).
• A professional, customer-focused, and representative attitude.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call service schedule.
• Willingness to work on other Caribbean islands, including Aruba and Bonaire.
• Good command of Dutch, Papiamentu, and English.
