Job description: VACANCY - PROCUREMENT & ORDER COORDINATOR
SIS N.V. is looking for an organized, energetic and commercially minded Procurement & Order Coordinator to play a key role in our daily purchasing and customer-order operations. This position focuses especially on sourcing and purchasing provisions, goods and food items while coordinating suppliers, pricing, orders and deliveries from start to finish.
Main Responsibilities
• Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Purchase provisions, goods and food items required for customer orders and daily operations.
• Request quotations, compare supplier pricing and identify the best purchasing options.
• Communicate and negotiate with local and international suppliers by phone and email.
• Prepare and place purchase orders and follow them through to delivery.
• Follow up proactively on outstanding orders, availability, substitutions and delivery times.
• Maintain accurate procurement, pricing and order administration.
• Coordinate closely with the warehouse and logistics team so orders are complete, correct and ready on time.
• Track the complete order cycle from customer request through purchasing, receiving and delivery.
What We Are Looking For
• Strong written and spoken English is required.
• MBO/SBO or comparable working/education level.
• Background or previous experience in the food service, food supply, hospitality or provisions industry is a strong plus.
• Procurement, purchasing or order-processing experience is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with computers, email and Excel.
• Commercially aware, organized and able to manage several orders and priorities at the same time.
• Proactive problem-solver who communicates well with suppliers and colleagues.
• Able to learn quickly, take ownership and work independently.
